1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Cryptomonitor website (https://cryptomonitor.info), services, or any related tools (collectively, the “Platform” or “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Our Services
Cryptomonitor is a non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange platform. We provide users with the ability to instantly exchange one type of cryptocurrency for another.
- We do not hold or store your funds (non-custodial service).
- All exchanges are executed through third-party liquidity providers on respective blockchain networks.
- Exchange rates displayed on the Platform are indicative and may change. We offer both floating and fixed rates (where available).
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the recipient address and all transaction details you provide.
3. Fixed Rate vs Floating Rate
- Fixed Rate — the rate is locked for 12 minutes after confirmation. If you send funds after this period, with the wrong amount, to an expired address, or in multiple transactions, the exchange may be recalculated at the current floating rate or returned (minus fees).
- Floating Rate — the final rate is determined at the moment we receive your funds.
We are not responsible for market fluctuations during the exchange process.
4. User Representations and Warranties
By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- You are not located in, nor a resident of, any Prohibited Jurisdictions (including but not limited to countries under UN sanctions, USA, Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, etc.).
- You use the Services at your own risk and discretion.
- All cryptocurrencies you exchange belong to you and are obtained from legitimate sources.
- You will not use the Services for any illegal activities, including money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or gambling.
- You are responsible for all applicable taxes arising from your use of the Services.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent any security features or restrictions
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) without our permission
- Provide false or misleading information
- Engage in any activity that may harm the Platform or other users
6. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and KYC
We reserve the right to apply AML/KYC procedures to any user or transaction. This may include requesting identification documents and source of funds information. Failure to complete verification may result in transaction delays or cancellation.We cooperate with liquidity providers and may freeze assets suspected of being linked to illegal activity.
7. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRYPTOMONITOR, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR CRYPTO-ASSETS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.We are not responsible for:
- Errors in addresses or transaction details provided by you
- Delays or failures caused by blockchain networks
- Any issues after funds have left our control
- Losses due to market volatility
8. No Cancellations or Refunds
All exchanges are final and irreversible once initiated. Please double-check all details before confirming any transaction.In exceptional cases (wrong address, technical issues, etc.), refunds may be considered at our sole discretion, subject to fees (typically 5% or more, minimum $20–50) and full AML/KYC verification.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, trademarks, and software on the Platform are the property of Cryptomonitor or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Platform for personal purposes only. Any other use is strictly prohibited.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Cryptomonitor harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
11. Miscellaneous
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Cryptomonitor.
- If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- We may assign our rights without your consent. You may not assign yours without our written permission.
- Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver.
